Yuletide letter, 2013!

Before anything else, I really want to thank you for offering to write for one of these οbscure fandoms! Thanks in advance for whatever you choose to write for me - I'm sure I'll enjoy reading your story, and I want you to enjoy writing it as well; that's pretty much the point for me. Thus, the following are just general suggestions and prompts, which you can follow if you want but ignore if they don't suit you.
Things I am in general a fan of: well. LOTS OF THINGS!! I enjoy gen fic and shippy fic, fic centered on one character and ensemble fic, plotty fic, adventurous fic, slice-of-life, mundane fic. Anything goes! I love stories about families of birth and families of choice, strong and supportive relationships, teams overcoming their differences and working together. Ordinary people being ordinary, badass people being ordinary, ordinary people being badass! Mundane details about everyday life and habits. Domesticity!! Cameos from other characters. Humorous details. People being friends. People learning how to be friends, people learning to fight, people overcoming their faults and hardships and growing up. Feelings about places! Worldbuilding, history, the understanding of the world around us. Messing with traditional gender roles. Doofs in love!! Optimism and hopeful perspectives.
Things I dislike: the usual goes here: any kind of non-consensual sexual situation; non-canonical character deaths; character bashing; general creepiness in relationships, romantic, friendly, or otherwise; also I am not here for grimdark or angsty stories - I don't mind sad events or settings, but I don't like angst for the sake of angst.
Fandom: The Dalemark Quartet
Characters: Any (from the tag set: Dastgandlen Handagner, Kialan Kerilsson, Libby Beer, Maewen Singer, Mitt Alhammittsson, Moril Clennesson)
I love the Dalemark Quartet a whole lot, and I am constantly craving MORE FIC about it, especially because we get to see a very short period of the characters' lives, but also are given a lot of hints and information about them (and the country's history) through the glossaries. So, I would be absolutely delighted to read ANYTHING you'd choose to write. Singer sibs fic?? Pseudo-academia? Shippy fic? Character studies? Maybe even some AUing? GO FOR IT, DEAR WRITER.
No, seriously. YOU CAN JUST WRITE WHATEVER YOU WANT. I just want more Dalemark fic in my life. Some suggestions: the Singer Siblings and their pursuits during the gap between Cart & Cwidder and the Crown of Dalemark! Libby Beer and how she came to be of the Undying! Mitt, Maewen, and how they navigate a relationship after they meet again! Anything about the events that followed the discovery of the Crown and Maewen's return to her time. Feel free to include other characters in this; that is actually the reason I didn't pick a character in particular in my sign-up. I love ensemble fic, and there are so many wonderful characters in this series. I would love to see what happens to them! (hell, you can even go for the AU of your choice! A coffeeshop AU? The romcom AU where Noreth is a celebrity and Maewen the girl she hired to avoid the flashlights? My personal favourite, the AU where they're all detectives?)
I'm sorry if this is not actually helpful at all! I really don't have a particular prompt in mind (other than I ship Mitt and Maewen like burning in any timeline), but here is my letter from last year, and here is my tag for Dalemark on tumblr, where I rant quite frequently.
Fandom: Magids Series
Characters: Arianrhod "Roddy" Hyde
Finishing the Merlin Conspiracy, all I wanted to read was post-canon adventures for all of its characters, but especially Roddy. I love Roddy and I was thrilled by the premise of her future as given to us, so I would love to read anything about her post-canon adventures apprenticing under the most important witch in her country.
RODDY!!! I love Roddy. I love that she's smart and headstrong and demanding and difficult to handle. I would love to see some post-canon fic that deals with her apprenticeship and her unavoidable growth as a character; I am also really into the exploration of relationships, whether that is between a teacher and a student, or a family. I especially like the good relationships she has with both her grandfathers, but would also be interested in seeing her other, less good relationships evolve. Another thing that I would really like would be to see her interact with people whom she hasn't met in canon - I would adore a first meeting between her and Maree, or her and Zinka.
(Ship wise: if you ship Roddy/Nick, that is okay and by all means include that in your story. I'm not super fond of it, mostly because Nick needs to grow up and deal with her personality, but if you address those issues I would definitely enjoy your take on it; however I don't really want romance to be the center of the story, so please keep that in mind.)
Unfortunately, I don't have a tumblr tag for the Magid series, as it's an even smaller fandom (I don't think I've even seen fanart of Roddy anywhere, to be honest). Sorry for that!
Fandom: Kiki's Delivery Service
Characters: Ursula, Kiki
I would really like to see some slice-of-life post-canon fic for this film?? I love how Kiki's Delivery Service is sort of a quiet, everyday film and I would like to see something about these characters and how they continue their lives after the film. In Ursula's case, I would also really enjoy to see something about her past!
Well. That, basically. As stated previously, I love fic about mundane, everyday things. I would love to see something about Kiki's life after the events of the film, be it two months or a year or ten years. Anything about her business, her friendships, her hobbies. (I also love the idea demonstrated in this fanart. I WOULD LOVE A FUTURE ROMCOM LIKE THIS.) As for Ursula, I would enjoy both pre-canon and post-canon fic, or even fic that takes time during the movie's timeline. Something about her, her art, her past experiences, her aspirations, how she came to paint in the woods, her adventures. I would also LOVE to see more characters from the film (or even other Ghibli films, if that suits you??) appear. I would especially like to see Kiki and her parents - what about them visiting in her new town and meeting all the people she's met there?

Characters: Ennis, Firo Prochainezo
I have a really soft spot for both Ennis and Firo/Ennis, and I would love to see something about the development of their relationship after the events of the anime and before their eventual marriage some decades later (or even post-marriage, I wouldn't say no to that). I'm especially interested in how Ennis would adjust to the new situations and how she developed as a person, so if you would rather write fic centered around her than shippy fic, I would would be totally on board!
Essentially what it says on the tin. I love everything the anime gives us about Ennis gaining her humanity, but she definitely has a long way to go and I really want to read about her development, as well as her developing relationship with Firo (if you don't want to write shippy fic for this, I would also enjoy gen). I would also be totally okay with other characters appearing (Isaac and Miria?? And Csez, of course, given that he lives with them). I love the entire cast in this series, with the exception of Ladd Russo and his clique. All in all, I just really want to read about people learning to fall into rhythm with one another and living together. (Kissing is always a plus).
